TEES

The Texas Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) is a partnership of communities, industry and institutions across the state that work together to solve problems and promote the economic development of Texas. TEES is the engineering research agency of the State of Texas and a member of The Texas A&M University System.

College of Architecture

Today, with approximately 2,000 students, the College of Architecture at Texas A&M University is one of the largest of its kind in the United States,. The three departments in the college - architecture, construction science, and landscape architecture and urban planning - are each fully accredited at the highest possible level and together offer 12 degree programs including doctorates in Architecture and Urban and Regional Sciences. Additionally the college sustains seven formally organized research centers and laboratories dedicated to improving the knowledge base of the professions it serves and supporting four graduate certification programs.

Texas A&M Engineering ranks among the finest and jost comprehensive engineering programs in the nation. Our Dwight Look College of Engineering is an integral parts of Texas A&M University. More than 9,000 engineering majors are enrolled in our 12 departments. Our faculty are dedicated to teaching, research and discovery in all of the major engineering fields.

Dedicated Oct. 4, 1876 as Texas’ first public institute of higher learning, Texas A&M University is the nation’s seventh-largest university by enrollment – 44,435 students in fall 2004.  Consistently in the top 20 in enrollment of National Merit Scholars, there were about 600 during the 2004-05 academic year.  One of the largest in the nation, Texas A&M consists of a 5,200-acre main campus and includes a 434-acre Research Park, branch campuses in Galveston and the Persian Gulf state of Qatar, and university centers in Mexico City and Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy.
