Kyle Marshall Senior Application Developer and Manager of Software Development Kyle has been programming since he could reach the keyboard. He has a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M and is working on wrapping up his Masters in EE. He served as Senior Programmer for several years at the Lab, before being promoted to his current position. He is responsible for architecture, design and development of the Lab's software.
Don Gilman, P.E. Assistant Research Engineer and Manager of Quality, Infrastructure and Data. Don has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of IT, including software engineering. He sits on the Software Engineering Task Force of the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. Don also has a long history in the computer games industry, starting in 1985. Don is responsible for quality assurance, compliance, infrastructure and databases. Charles H. Culp, Ph.D., P.E. Associate Professor Architecture and Associate Director of the Energy Systems Laboratory. Dr. Culp has over 25 years of industry experience in engineering, research, teaching, and management. His expertise is in HVAC systems, measurement and verification, expert systems, system design, energy efficiency, and utility power distribution. Dr. Culp holds a B.S. in Physics, a Ph.D. in Solid State Physics, and is a licensed professional engineer in Texas. He has numerous publications, invited talks, handbooks, and 11 U.S. patents. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jeffrey S. Haberl, Ph.D., P.E. Professor of Architecture and Associate Director of the Energy Systems Laboratory He serves as team leader for building energy modeling, and calibrated simulation. Dr. Haberl's experience includes post-doctoral research at Princeton University's Center for Energy and Environmental Studies and 22 years of building energy research at Texas A&M University, Princeton University, the University of Colorado, Rockwell International, the Colorado State Office of Energy Conservation, the City of Boulder, and for the US DOE Administrative Services. He has authored or co-authored 130 publications, 92 reports, and holds one U.S. patent. |
